"Reba" is a stylish, powerful, yet feminine first freshening two year old. She is very smoothly blended throughout and stands on very correct, squarely feet and legs. Her udder is extremely well attached in both the fore and rear, with a very pleasing shape and a high, wide rear udder. We were delighted when Reba scored Excellent on her mammary this July!
Reba's dam, Saint, is one of our absolute favourite does. Saint has been the 2001 CGS West National Reserve Grand Champion and then the 2002 CGS East National Grand Champion! How many does can say they've been at the top in both the East and the West? In 2003, Saint was the Grand Champion & Best Udder of Breed at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
Reba has started a fantastic show career of her own - we'd like to think she's following in her dam's footsteps. At the triple Rocky Mountain Dairy Goat Show in Okotoks, AB. in July, 2004, Reba was 2X1st, 1X2nd place Milking Two Year Old, 1XReserve Grand Champion, 2XGrand Champion, 2XBest Udder of Breed and 1XBest Doe in Show!
Reba's maternal sister, Braveheart Pied Piper was shown as a two year old in 2003, placing twice Reserve Grand Champion and being a member of 1st Place Dairy Herd and 1st Place Get of Sire at the 2003 CGS West National Show.
