Valkyrie is truly a handsome buck. He stands on incredibly strong, sound feet and legs, and shows much width between the hocks. He is terrifically long bodied, and is deep thru his heart girth and into his barrel. Valkyrie exhibits lovely dairyness in his widely spaced ribs and loose, pliable skin. We are also impressed by his substance, and love his masculine appearance.
Valkyrie scored VG87 in classification this year...and he did that in FULL-ON RUT! Not bad considering how totally gross he was...

Valkyrie also has two paternal half sisters, Tadmore VGB Lil' Miss and herdmate, Braveheart Sister Reba who BOTH classified VG89 with an Excellent mammary as first freshening two year olds!
Valkyrie's first babies arrived in 2004! Although BRAVEHEART was only graced with buck kids, we are pleased to report that they were what we had hoped for - long & level with beautiful breed character. An outside breeding to Blue Thunder Ace Regaylia (EX/EX) produced TWIN DOES! They are gorgeous red doelings with long frosted ears. We were SO fortunate to be able to purchase one of these doelings - Blue Thunder Victorian Rose. |
