"Rose" is an addition to our herd, and we thank Daniel Lawton of Blue Thunder Nubians for allowing us to acquire a Valkyrie daughter....since we didn't have any of our own in the 2004 kidding season.
Rose shows a lovely correlation of parts. She's smooth bodied, long and level and stands on excellent feet and legs. She is showing much width between the hocks and a high arching escutcheon - which always holds promise for a lovely mammary system.
Rose's dam, Regaylia, has a beautiful udder - being high and very wide in the rear and long, full and smoothly blended in the fore udder. She classified Excellent overall with an Excellent mammary July, 2004.
In the show season of 2003, Regaylia was 2X1st place Milking Three Year old, 2XGrand Champion and 2nd Place Milking Three Year Old at the 2003 CGS West National Show.
Rose will be a dry yearling for 2005. We can't wait to present her in the show ring next summer! *We will have photos of her SOON! |
