The Characters
(Warning: These descriptions may contain some light spoilers.)

The Main Characters of Kim Possible

Kim Possible Name: Kim Possible (Kimberly Ann Possible, K.P.)
Trademark Sayings: "What's the sitch?", "So not the drama", "No big"
About: Kim Possible is a top student at Middleton High who manages to balance schoolwork, cheerleading, and missions in worldwide crime-fighting. Her identity as a super agent is no secret, yet she's treated no differently by other kids at school, although she still happens to be one of the popular kids. Kim involves herself in a wide range of clubs and activities at school, but most particularly cheerleading, of which she is the captain and from which she gets her moves during crime-fighting. Her other interests include brand clothing from Club Banana and Cuddle Buddies.

Ron Stoppable Name: Ron Stoppable (Ronald Stoppable)
Trademark Sayings: "Boo-yah!"
About: Ron is Kim Possible's sidekick and best friend. He initially served as a distraction during missions because of his clumsiness and his not being so bright, but in later episodes, he unintentionally relies on accidental luck (later known as The Ron Factor). Despite his goofy nature, he's extremely kind-hearted and highly values his friendship with Kim. Ron has a deep-rooted of monkeys that originate from experiences at Camp Wannaweep, yet he gained Monkey Kung Fu skills through exposure to mystical monkey artifact powers. His interests include food at Bueno Nacho and various video games.

Rufus Name: Rufus
Type: Naked Mole Rat
Role: Rufus is Ron's beloved pet and a crucial part of Kim's mission success, especially when both Kim and Ron have been captured. Rufus is a naked mole rat, the only hairless mammal Ron could find in his effort to buy a pet that wouldn't start his dad's allergic reaction to all haired pets. So at the age 12, Ron bought Rufus at Smarty Mart. Rufus can occasionally make human words among all the high-pitched rodent jabber (like Scooby-Doo), yet Ron manages to be the one, and only one, who understands everything Rufus says.

Dr. Drakken Name: Dr. Drakken (Drew Lipsky)
About: Dr. Drakken is Kim's arch-nemesis and has appeared in more episodes than any other villain. His primary goal is almost always world domination, but he often devises overly complicated plans to do so. His latest plan usually involves typical villain devices like death rays, killer robots, and various obscure technological advanced devices. He operates with no henchmen and his one sidekick, Shego, because of his financial troubles, and everyone seems to know about his "secret" lairs. His transformation to an evil villain was largely due to teasing from his ex-best-friends, Mr. Dr. Possible, and Professors Chen and Ramesh.

Shego Name: Shego
About: Shego is Kim's most formidable enemy, being the smartest and the most dangerous of all the villains. Still, she remains a sidekick to Drakken, even after a consistent streak of world domination failures on Drakken's part, but she does get most of her fun from making sarcastic remarks towards Drakken and battling Kim Possible. Her martial arts skills are similar to Kim's, and she can fire glowing green plasma from her hands. She previously worked as a superhero with her four brothers - Hego, Mego, Wego, and Wego - but their behavior irritated her so much that she switched the evil side. She has a softer side, which is the key to her possibly becoming good again.

The Secondary Characters of Kim Possible

Wade Load Name: Wade Load
About: Wade is the ten-year-old child genius who supplies Kim her mission tools and gadgets, supplies Kim with mission information through her Kimmunicator, and runs her website. He spends almost all of his time in his room at the computer with the lights off, and he's frequently seen drinking soda from a straw when he communicates with Kim and Ron. Kim and Ron have never met Wade in person, but he appeared in hologram form and worked on various missions using robots remotely controlled from his room. Surprisingly, he has no need for a joystick or mouse, as he uses his keyboard for everything.

Mrs. and Mr. Dr. Possible Name: Mrs. Dr. Possible and Mr. Dr. Possible (Mrs. Dr. P. and Mr. Dr. P.)
Trademark Sayings: "Anything's possible for a Possible!"
About: Mrs. and Mr. Dr. Possible are Kim Possible's mom and dad, respectively. Kim's mom works as a brain surgeon, and she's usually the one who notices problems in the family and offers advice. Kim's dad works as a rocket scientist, and he's known to be absent-minded. Mr. Dr. P. doesn't allow Kim to date, and subsequently can be often heard asking, "Is it with a boy...?" Otherwise, both Dr. Possible's are easy-going parents whose bizarre behavior adds to an interesting family environment.

Tim and Jim Possible Name: Tim Possible and Jim Possible
Trademark Sayings: "Boo-sha!"
About: Kim Possible's twin brothers, whom she affectionally calls the "Tweebs" (Twin Dweebs), are distinguished by the color of the shirts they wear. One is often wearing red, while the other is often wearing green. When they're not harassing Kim, they're making trouble with their next whacky science invention, launching rockets, or sending out screensavers of an unexpecting Kim to all of Middleton.

Bonnie Rockwaller Name: Bonnie Rockwaller
About: As the number two cheerleader on the cheerleading team, Bonnie is Kim Possible's rival in cheerleading and just about everything else. She has a somewhat hostile relationship with Kim, although she's usually only verbally cruel to Kim. She has two older sisters, Connie and Lonnie, whose mistreatment of her is probably a reason for her turnout as a mean person. She has a nicer side to her personality, but we rarely get to see that on the show. Her interests include designer clothes, and she has criticized Kim's style various times. She speaks constantly on the cell phone, has excellent driving skills, and flirts with Kim's crush, Josh Mankey.

Monique Name: Monique
About: Monique is probably Kim's best female friend. She met her at the clothing store Club Banana, where Monique happens to work part-time. Monique also attends Middleton High, and she's known for following clothing style religiously. Kim initially feared that Monique and Ron would be incompatible friends, but it turned out that Monique shares Ron's love for Bueno Nacho food.

Mr. Steve Barkin Name: Mr. Steve Barkin
About: Mr. Barkin seems to serve multiple roles at Middleton High, including the principal, the teacher, the gym instructor, and the substitute teacher. He acts sternly and often speaks like a drill sergeant, which leads us to conclude that he probably has a military background. Despite his military background, he leads the Pixies, which is very similar to The Girl Scouts. Mr. Barkin has long disliked Ron because of one time in the past when Ron "looked at him funny", and he often gives Ron a hard time. (Trivia: His hair has gone from blonde to brown across the three seasons.)

The Minor Characters of Kim Possible

Tara Name: Tara
About: Tara is a Middleton cheerleader who showed obvious signs that she liked Ron after the first incident with villain Gill at Camp Wannaweep. However, Ron never realized this, and by season three, she was dating Josh Mankey, who was previously Kim's crush.

Zita Flores Name: Zita Flores
About: Ron first met Zita when she replaced the former employee at the ticket booth. By the way Ron acted nervously around Zita, it's pretty obvious that he had some feelings for Zita. Ron even took up the online game Everlot in order to impress Zita, and they ended up working together on a virtual mission to battle the power-abusing game player, Malcom the Wraithmaster. (Appearances In: Grudge Match, Vir-Tu-Ron)

Felix Renton Name: Felix Renton
About: Kim initially had problems acting normally around Felix because she was trying too hard to be sensitive to his wheelchair condition. However, Felix has proven that he gets around better than most people, especially because he has a cyber-robotic wheelchair. He's beaten Ron at basketball, video games, and carnival games, and he has aided Kim in her missions on at least one occasion. (Appearances In: Motor Ed, Steal Wheels)

Josh Mankey Name: Josh Mankey
About: Josh is one of the coolest guys at Middleton High, and he's also very calm and kind-hearted. Kim had a big crush on Josh during much of the beginning of the series. He seems to be the only one who makes Kim act nervously and clumsily, and they dated once in season two. By season three, Kim explicity admitted that they had grown apart.

Brick Flagg Name: Brick Flagg
About: Brick is a quarterback on the Middleton football team who seems to encompass the stereotypes of a football player, including a lack of intelligence. Early in the series, Ron spread false rumors about Kim liking Brick, and this led to Adrena-Lynn capturing Brick to seek revenge upon Kim. At one point, Bonnie seemed to be dating him.

Nana Possible Name: Nana Possible
About: Nana Possible is Kim's grandmother, who opposes Kim's baring of her midrift and "dressing like a boy" when she wears her mission outfit. She also prefers that Kim not carry out her dangerous missions, yet she was the first woman to complete the Navy's Underwater Demolition training and she trained with the Shaolin monks.

Mr. Stoppable Name: Mr. Stoppable
About: Mr. Stoppable is Ron's dad, and he works as an actuary. He's very easy-going, and offers fatherly advice to Ron when he needs it.

Mrs. Stoppable Name: Mrs. Stoppable
About: Mrs. Stoppable is Ron's mom. She has a job that can lead to relocation abroad, but I'm not sure if the show ever mentioned what the job was.

Liz and Crystal Name: Liz and Crystal
About: Liz is the red-haired cheerleader pictured on the left, and Crystal is the brown-haired cheerleader pictured on the right. (We first learn Liz's name in Sink or Swim, the episode where Gill first appears.) These characters have had very little dialogue during the entire series, so we don't know that much about them.

Hope and Marcella Name: Hope and Marcella
About: Hope is the black-haired cheerleader, without a mole, pictured on the left. Marcella is the black-haired cheerleader with a mole, pictured on the right. (We first learn Marcella's name in Sink or Swim, the episode where Gill first appears.) Hope is mentioned in Steal Wheels. These characters have had very little dialogue during the entire series, so we don't know that much about them.

Yori Name: Yori (pictured on right side)
About: Yori is the girl who accompanies Ron on his student exchange adventure in Japan. There were some hints of at least some light chemistry between the two, although it seemed more that it was Ron who liked Yori. Ron trained with Yori and other students at the secret ninja school, and they both battled Lord Monkey Fist to recover the lotus blade. (Appearances In: Exchange)

Larry Name: Larry
About: Larry is Kim Possible's cousin, and his stereotypical nerdiness is rather unappealing to Kim. He first appeared in the same episode where villain Lord Monkey Fist first appeared.

Superhero Characters of Kim Possible

Hego, Mego, Wego Name: Hego, Mego, Wego 1, and Wego 2
About: Hego (blue), Mego (purple), and the Wego twins (red) are Shego's brothers and members of Team Go. Hego possesses super strength, Mego can instantly shrink, and Wego and Wego can duplicate.

Timothy North Name: Timothy North (The Fearless Ferret)
About: Timothy North was a TV show actor on the show The Fearless Ferret who had the illusion that the show was real.

* Only two of the villains are included here because they appear in more episodes than any other villain. The other villains are on the villains page. Many minor characters have been left out intentionally for now, until I can acquire a screenshot of them. In the minor characters section, I left out quite a few people, but I'm working on it. To add: Malcom, Ron's cousin (Shaun), Ned, etc.
