At the end of October my Boy Scout Troop camped and then went to Hershey Park. Hershey Park is an amusement park near the factory where they make Hershey Chocolate. On our way to the camp we stopped at Cabellas, a large store that sells all kinds of outdoor items. I was amazed at how large the store was! It had so many different things! It had everything you could want for hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and more! When we left for Hershey Park on Saturday, we were all really excited. We stayed at the park for six hours! My group was really well planned. We knew exactly where we were going. We rode on five different rollercoasters and a swing ride. My favorite rollercoaster was called Stormrunner. The hydraulic launch shoots you from 0-72mph in a little over 2 seconds! I even rode it with my hands up in the air! When we got back to camp that night I was really tired. I can't wait to go to another amusement park!
We went to a piano concert at our library. It was sponsored by the Piatagorsky Foundation. The pianist was Richard Dowling. He performed famous pieces like The Entertainer by Scott Joplin, Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin, and Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy. He also talked about each of the composers and how they came to write the piece he was about to play. He was an amazing pianist: his fingers seemed to fly over the keyboard.
My sister and I were asked to play the piano with other students from our piano studio in the King of Prussia Mall on the day after Thanksgiving. We played on a Steinway Grand Piano in the indoor courtyard at the entrance to one of the large department stores. There were so many people shopping! Many of them took a break from their shopping to listen to us play. I played Toccata by Cuehlar, and Andalusion Rhapsody by Timothy Brown. I also accompanied Gabrielle for Yankee Doodle, Silent Night, and Away in a Manger. It was wonderful to play on such a beautiful piano!
Here we are at the mall playing the piano for the shoppers.
I have done a lot of other things these past two months. My dad, sister and I took our dog, Patch, to our Grandparent's house in Connecticut for the weekend. We made lots of crafts while we were there. Gabrielle loved playing with the clay. My grandfather helped me use wood scraps to build a model of an Ancient Mayan village. We also spent time outside with Patch playing in the leaves and walking around the neighborhood. We had fun there, and Patch did, too!
Gabrielle and I have also been busy with rehearsals for The Nutcracker! We auditioned back in September and then received our casting at the end of October. Gabrielle is an angel again this year and I have been cast as Fritz, Clara's mischevious brother - and the one who breaks the Nutcracker!
It was really cool how we found out our roles. When we came to class, there was a Christmas Tree decorated with ornaments and fancy envelopes with each person's name written on it. After class we all got to find our envelope and take it off the tree and written inside were the roles and dances we'd been cast in.  As Fritz, I am in the opening Party Scene, the Battle Scene and the Entrada. I have really been enjoying rehearsals and can't believe that the show is coming up so fast. We have performances on the weekend of December 9th and 10th.
In school, I have been studying many different things. I really like the weekly geography units I am doing. I have also been learning about linear equations and Pythagorean's theorum in math. In history, I learned about the ancient Meso-America Civilizations like the Aztec, Inca, and Maya. Of course I have also been studying science, French, art, music and English. I can't wait to see what December has in store!

I have been busy these couple months. I've been doing lots of fun things. I went apple picking with my family. We had lots of different apple deserts. Yum! We also got our pumpkins at the farm. We went on a wagon ride pulled by a tractor.
For Halloween, guess what I was? I was a dog, of course!! I had fun trick-or-treating with my friends. We got a lot of candy! There was one house that was scary. We had to walk to their backyard to get our treats, past witches and other scary decorations!
One night I went with my dad to the library for their one time a month festival. I saw race cars, I raced my unicorn pinewood derby car, and I sang karoake! I sang "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music movie.
I have also been busy with Nutcracker rehearsals!! I was picked to be an angel in this year's Nutcracker! I love going to the rehearsals and dancing with the other girls. The angels get to be on stage when the Sugar Plum Fairy dances! I can't wait until the show!
