Monster Zero-One
(Page 5)
Godzilla would later resurface in 1992's Godzilla and Mothra:  The Battle for Earth.  A group of explorer's transporting the egg of Mothra back to the mainland.  Curious, the monster approached the vessel to do what it does best, destroy it.  However, the egg hatches and Godzilla is challenged by a small Mothra larva.  The larva is outmatched, but another monster larva appears, the dark Mothra, Battra.  With no intentions of aiding it's sworn enemy, yet no intentions of siding with Godzilla, Battra attacks both creatures.  Godzilla puts up the better, fight and both he and Battra sink into the depths of the ocean as an eruption occured, trapping both under the Earth's crust in a sea of magma.  Unphased by the burning hot magma, Godzilla swims to the first opening opportunity, Mt. Fuji.  The volcano erupts and Godzilla emerges, continuing his reign of destruction.  Mothra had since transformed into it's adult form, as did Battra who was also released from it's volcanic prison.  Mothra and Battra were locked in mortal combat by the time Godzilla arrived to take revenge on the two dueling monsters.  Both Mothra and Battra were overcome with ease by the monster, and they realized they had to work together in order to survive the wrath of the mighty kaiju.  The two moths battle Godzilla together, and conquer him.  They both grab Godzilla with their tiny insect legs and carry him out to sea, however Godzilla bites Battra in the neck during the attempt.  Dying from the mortal wound, Battra choses to sink into the sea as Mothra lets go of Godzilla, sending both the monster and his newfound allie into the sea.  Battra was dead, but Godzilla was not...

The next time Godzilla was seen was in 1993's
Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, where Godzilla surfaces on an island to collect a dormant egg about to hatch.  Instead, he finds Rodan, a giant mutated Pterodactyl defending the nest from him.  The battle allows scientists to take the egg themselves, thinking it was a Pterodactyl as well.  The egg hatches instead into a baby Godzilla, and both the adult Godzilla and Rodan go on the rampage looking for it.  The newly formed G-Force send the giant robot Mechagodzilla and the massive jet Garuda to put an end to their terror once and for all.  Rodan is mortally wounded by Mechagodzilla, but Godzilla puts on a better fight.  However, Garuda attatches to Mechagodzilla's back to form Super Mechagodzilla to take the mighty monster down.  Using biology information obtained by the baby Godzilla, Super Mechagodzilla aims for a second brain in Godzilla's hindquarters to immobilize the beast.  The plan is a success, and Godzilla falls to the ground, trying to survive the constant barage of attacks by Super Mechagodzilla.  Ultimatly, the wounded creature is killed, enraging the baby.  Baby Godzilla lets out a massive scream to it's adopted big brother Rodan, who uses his last amount of strength to transfer his life force into Godzilla, reviving him.  Godzilla stands tall once again, not giving Super Mechagodzilla the opportunity to attack again, Godzilla destroys his robotic clone.  The resurrected monster leads it's son into the sea, away from the chaos of modern society.

Godzilla is found again on Birth Island in 1994, for the feature
Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.  G-Force attempts to to control the mind of Godzilla, but ultimatly the attempts failed and the project was abandoned.  However, a solo G-Force solder, Akira Yuki, attempts to kill the beast on his own, in retaliation for killing his best friend during the attacks of Godzilla vs. Biollante.  Yuki's attempts also fail, though his hatred of the monster remains.  However, a creature crated from G-cells in space resembling Godzilla, dubbed SpaceGodzilla, raids Birth Island to conquere it's "father" and destroy the Earth.  SpaceGodzilla proves to be too much for the King of the Monsters, and SpaceGodzilla leaves Godzilla humiliated and imprisons the todler Godzilla in a cage of crystal.  SpaceGodzilla raids Tokyo, only to be challenged by G-Force's latest mech, Moguera, piloted by Yuki.  Soon after the battle begins, Godzilla surfaces for a rematch, and Godzilla and Yuki find themselves fighting on the same side.  SpaceGodzilla destroys Moguera, with Yuki surviving, yet Godzilla overcomes his opponant and obliterates SpaceGodzilla.  Yuki watches Godzilla swim into the horizon, respecting the creature that helped him in his time of need.

But this Godzilla's reign wouldn't last forever.  In 1995's
Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Birth Island explodes causing Godzilla to absorb even more radiation.  The creature is reaching critical mass and is going to explode any day.  Godzilla attacks Hong Kong and returns to the sea, but in an attempt to save the creature, Japan sends out Super-X 3 to freeze Godzilla and control his temperature.  The plan succeeds, but instead of controling the temperature, it skyrockets out of control.  Godzilla is heading toward meltdown, which will destroy the entire world.  The only way to kill Godzilla and save the Earth is the same way they killed the original...the Oxygen Destroyer, which has luckily spawned a monster, Destoroyah.  G-Force leads Godzilla and the now adult Godzilla Junior into Japan to combat Destoroyah and in hopes of killing Godzilla before the fateful moment.  Destoroyah succeeds in killing Godzilla Junior, but Godzilla himself proves to be a force to be reckoned with, taking the massive monster out with ease.  In one last attempt to control the damage, Super-X 3 freezes Godzilla again at the point of meltdown.  Godzilla is to heated to stay frozen and eventually melts away into nothing, but the damage is minimalized and the world is safe.  But a beast roars in the night...Godzilla Junior rises from his death bed, now eradiated and massive...the new King of the Monsters.
