How to get by without an IPAC
(or math)
I soldered 30 wires of varying gauges (a testament to Pelicans engineering dept. the wires were of all different types) to 30 tiny traces which are difficult to see and VERY close together. Too little solder and the tinned lead wouldn't stick, too much and it would short.
All I had was a big dirty old soldering iron, which didn't help any. the ColdHeat wasn't very effective for this.
You don't need mad skills for this part, but if you don't have the mad skills it will take a long time and being very careful, taking your time and not getting frustrated is a big part of mad skills having.
sadly these are the mad skills I don't have. and math. I got the 30 part right though.
