| IDEAS, STUFF NEEDED, AND THEN SOME: The original vision for the playground was a great SOFT chill and play space with blow-up furniture, bean bag chairs, a pillow mountain, blow up toys, and anything soft and fluffy that brings the idea of clouds to mind. Only some of this came to fruition for the Fall event as the weather dampened quite a bit of what he had, and limited car space, and participants kept it to a minimum. However, as the camp grows - we have faith we can make this a bigger reality! What fluffy things can you bring? We would also like us to glow at night - so if anyone has a power source that we could use for stringing lights, that would be great. We did manage to rent a generator at the last minute for the fall event and it worked well - so we would like to pull our resources and do that again. Bring all your glow decorations and costumes too! Once again, Goddesscomedia is working on providing a shelter for the "Main Play Area" (which will not be for sleeping) and hopefully we can surround it with our personal sleeping tents. We sure did learn alot from last time and Goddesscomedia is determined to create a sturdy kick-ass shelter for the spring! Also feel free to bring cards, board games, etc. Anyone got any Rock'em Sock'em Robots? LOL Most importantly, however, is interactive communal art! I am working on incorporating a few things that will need your participation. If you have it, please bring (and let me know if you do have it) a variety of colored chalk, glow chalk, flourescent chalk (not sketching chalk - the sidewalk/blackboard variety), glow paint and battery-powered blacklights so the art can glow at night! Neon glow paint that will adhere to PLASTIC and is waterproof will be helpful. This didn't happen last time due to the rain and a few other obstacles but let's give it another try shall we? I'll be looking to bring some of those items too but in the spirit of participation and gifting - I could use some help. Feel free to dream up your own interactive art ideas for the playground. Bafoonery and costumery - "Make 'em laugh, make 'em laugh!" Some say money makes the world go 'round but I say laughter does! The playground should be a place for hilarity of all kinds so whatever humorous, jokester, prankster, and generally silly art, activity, pracitical jokes, or costume ideas you have for the ultimate in some fucking-fabulous-farcical-funny-fun and merriment, bring it on! THE GAME SHOW!!! At some point, I would like to host the game show I invented titled, "Heaven or Hell", which is highly interactive (audience participation is a MUST!). We did attempt this at the Fall PDF in spite of the rain (almost elctrocuting ourselves on the stage with the microphones!) and acquired a small audience willing to brave the weather. Many have asked if the GAME SHOW will return so we would like to give it another shot. It will either be on the main stage or we MAY try to do it at the camp itself. The game requires improv skills, physical feats, quick wits, sarcasm, bawdiness, and a great sense of humor. It is trivia-based and adult-oriented in it's bawdiness and encourages the use of strong language and that fantastic "radical self-expression". However it is not pornographic, so while some extreme burners may find it tame, others will find it funny and exhilirating. The game is what the participants make it - just like PDF and Burning Man. It combines elements from a variety of well-known games and game shows. (think drinking game meets Whose-line-is-it-Anyway meets MTV's remote control meets Nickelodeon's Double Dare meets Fear Factor - but not as fearful. I won't make anyone eat bugs! ) I am looking for actor-type people to help me out. I need one person willing to play the role of Satan who will also serve as the official game "bartender" and "Chef", among other duties (which may include "punishing" people! LOL) , 2 or 3 people to play the roles of the "Demigods" who will be my sidekicks and judges, and a score/time keeper angel. These volunteer actors would need to provide their own costumes (so have fun with that!). Everyone else falls into the audience or contestant category who are in pergatory! (contestants are selected from the audience). I'm not going to post all the rules and/or directions of the game here. Join the yahoo group for more info and I'll also explain it all at PDF. However, I will say this: You must be able to embrace and accept the rude, comedic, nature/concept of the game (one of it's main tenants is that it is inherantly unfair, thus focusing on the enterainment and not "winning"), you must be willing to get messy and make a fool of yourself (shyness won't work), and It's not for the timid or easily offended - but I have a feeling burners do not fall into any of those categories which is why I want to play it at PDF! (*(note: this game is NOT FOR CHILDREN!) However, it's not pornographic or violent, so you can relax - there won't be any animal sacrifices or or abuse. LOL. (No vending either. See? I read the Burning rules!) FROM THE FALL BURN... "The Cast" ... Goddess - Karen Satan - Danny - he didn't show up in time for the game. Maybe he'll try again? Angel - Elissa Demigod - Maya Demigod - Joyce - she then filled in for Danny and played Satan Demigod - Rachel Demigod - Andrew The "Band" - Larry a.k.a. "Larrio" The Crew - Charles More crew members and band members for 2006 are welcome as well as willing contestants! Items needed for this game to work: Paricipants! Biodegradable food, snacks, candy, condiments, beverage items and paper products will be needed for the "game kitchen" Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the "game bar" (oh, and a bar which could be a folding table) Noise makers of some kind for the contestants to "buzz in" A timer of some kind (egg timer?) A Twister game (or two) A large inflatable or plastic kiddie pool (and if possible, someone to bring plenty of Jello or Pudding in a cooler or some other slimy subtance that is safe for the envirnoment for pouring into said kiddie pool at some point.....exciting, aye?) A battery-powered boom box and some kick-ass sexy music Several rolls of toilet paper (environmentally safe, of course) Non-lubricated condoms or balloons (but man, condoms would be so much funnier!) Water guns 3 Hula Hoops As many hats as we can get Eggs Whip Cream Paper Towels Any other random items that any of you can think of that might be used for funny torture or incorporated into a "dare" or "task". *If I don't get enough volunteers and/or donated items, I won't be doing this game, so email me ASAP if you have, and can bring some of this stuff!
