BEHOLD my pet ... we have visitors ... web travelers . Ahh yes ... Mortals ... wonderful creatures ... The trouble with Mortals , is that they have forgotten from whence they came . And in turn , they have limited their reality . Argue for your limitations and you get to keep them ... for time and space do not exist . But still ... they persist . They have forgotten that the dream state is a stage ... as transition ... between realities ... not limited to mankind , but to all forms of consciousness ... and the majority still believe their dreams to be hallucinations . They have forgotten that dreams are a combination of realities . Imagination is the form of waking consciousness closest to dream consciousness . Imagination is the extention of the dream state . Yet the Mortals are so sure ... they "know" that they themselves have not experienced anything like their consciousness going into the future to preview events that have not happened yet ... experiencing deja vu,when they have , or their minds controlling matter at a distance . How could this be possible ?
YET every night , that is what their consciousness does : It travels into the future , into the past , into other bodies , changes an object into a person , a person into an object , transports them instantly to a faraway place , and on and on ... as does everyone else's consciousness . For that matter , it is not only at night this happens ; it goes on all the time . The consciousness that they think of as themselves , is such that it can focus in material reality , where it takes on identity as a three-dimensional being , while at the same time maintaining endless other identities and existences elsewhere , both "in" and "out" of matter . In their dreams they get in touch with this multidimensional aspect of themselves . Because of their still engrained materialistic beliefs , many of them have yet to be aware of so-called extrasensory phenomena while in full waking consciousness (though they happen all the time). Such occurrences as foretelling events or finding lost articles through "seeing" where they make news precisely because they are unusual . Entities who report experiences of this kind to Mortals who have not had them may be regarded as kooks , or charlatans, depending on their bias . Whatever these entities are , they are not like most Mortals . Yet even the most logical of empiricists , the type of Mortals who have a rational explanation , will easily and openly admit that they dream . In most cases the Mortals don't remember their dreams , but they do remember that they dreamed , and that their consciousness acted in strange ways , in ways that could be described as extrasensory . Yet they are not at all reluctant to admit this , knowing that everyone else shares that experience , knowing that when it comes to dreaming , they are all alike .
THE Mortals can admit this my pet , because to them dreams are no more than pictures in the mind ... akin to imaginings but more distorted--more like hallucinations . But while it is "not"alright to have hallucinations (if they're wide awake and seeing things that aren't there , something must be wrong with them), it "is" alright to have dreams . They're asleep , they're not participating in space - time , so they can let their mind conjure up images . Everyone does . However , the world of dreams is just as real as the world of space and time . In fact , it is "more" real in that it contains more dimensions . In dreams Mortals are more aware than when they are awake of the basic multidimensionality of consciousness , of their own multidimensionality as consciousness . Even so , because of their strong space - time orientation , when in the dream world they may tend to perceive that reality through a glass darkly , like a bemused and confused observer of a weird television show . Because the Mortals have decided that at most dreams present a distorted version of their own world in need of decoding , they fail to recognize the reflection of a basic reality out of which their own emerges . They fail to recognize that the events they encounter in dreams are half - materialized symbols of an underlying nonmaterial reality . They don't see that the events in dreams , far from being distorted versions of space - time occurrences , are instead events in the process of becoming materialized . Never does it occur to them , my precious pet , that their reality is based on dream reality , not the other way around , that , rather than form dream events out of waking events , they form the events of their waking life through the meditation of their dreams . The Mortals have focused so much in Earth Reality , that it has become the only reality that they know . Obsurd ? Perhaps ... but for the "Immortals" ... a known truth . Farewell web traveler ... perhaps we shall meet in another ...
