Prelude_

Everyone says- 'four jobs in three years?...in different sectors?... you are going nowhere man'. But I believe that I have taken preparations to achieve something special. Now I know how government organizations and private firms work in my country. I know what the technical and management aspects of the problems are in my country. And here, abroad, I am hopeful to know how the richest of the countries reached this peak. Hope I can use them all in future when my country will need me....

Job Details

Right now I am working as a Research Assistant. My current employer is the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Concordia University, Montréal, Quebec, Canada.

I also work part time in the Graduate Students Association in the University as an Administrative Assistant.

Job is not always hectic... there are scopes to have fun

The first job was the biggest one. It was with Bangladesh Road Transport Authority in a world bank financed project. Position was 'Project Coordinator and System Analyst'. The project 'BRTA Information Systems' is still one of the biggest of its kind in the public sector. [Nov 2003-Dec 2004]

My last full time job was with redcell group, an advertising agency. I was working as a Research Analyst there. Prepared some marketing and service plans for industrial manufacturers and supervised manufacturing operations of promotional; gift items within the group. [Aug 2006-Aug 2007]

The position with Foundation Engineers and Architects limited was 'Plant Engineer and Industrial Project Coordinator'. Responsibilities with the firm were to supervise the operation of the concrete mixing plant and coordinating different components of Industrial Construction Consultancy [like coordinating architects, structural engineers, and electrical-plumbing-utility-HVAC- and other consultants and contractors in factory construction projects]. [Dec 2005-Aug 2006]

With Cell IT, job with the title 'IT Project Coordinator', responsibilities was suggesting corrections to software and web development following precise customer needs. [Jan 2005- Nov 2005]
