I was raised in a family looking for a scope to contribute something to the country. In doing that there were little time that we enjoyed together. But that is something my parents never regretted... spending time at the nation's cause was the issue always...

I firmly believe what ever I am right now its because of the education at home...

My father is from Comilla and my mother is from Rangpur. Most relatives live either in these places or in the two metropolitan cities- Dhaka and Chittagong...

My father, Dr. Engr. Md. Golam Mohiuddin, PEng, was a professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering when he died in April 18 2004. But this was only a fraction of his identity. He had devoted in so many cultural, social and political activities that it is still a wonder to me figuring out how he could manage time.

My mother, Afrozan Nahar Rasheda, is a Assistant Professor in Notre Dame College, Dhaka. She too is highly active in politics and works within the teachers community. For over twenty years she is the editor of an education monthly. She is also a social worker and running an orphanage with fellow like-minded volunteers.

My Brother is G M Mesbahuddin Ranak. He is a businessman by nature but rigth now doing some projects in other firms.

My parents...in the mid seventies...

My wife is Shammee Ahsan Udita. She has a bachelors degree in Business Computing from Malaysia. She used to sing for Bangladesh Betar, did a lot of painting...  And yes its true, we still have a lot to know each other as we are in two different continents...
