As he informed, this would be with G Series and he selected 'Ekhonoki Tumi' and 'Tumi Nai' for the album. My music style_ Well, I have developed a separate type of music I believe. It is based on exceptionally strong lyrics- some listeners commented- and the tunes are soft and melodious with inclination towards band music of the 90s. My Musical History_ I have started to learn Rabindra Sangeet at the age of 10 in Chhayanaut. I have completed the 3 year foundation plus 5 year certificate course in 1997. Then I moved to Khulna, to do my graduation in mechanical Engineering and developed eagerness to know contemporary Band Music. I started to play the guitar and composed my own songs. I got my first guitar lessons from my brother and then from a friend in Khulna. I returned from the university in 2003 and waited untill Late 2006 startled with a writer's block. A sudden opportunity came to appear a satellite television channel on Eid Programs on January 1 2007. Got some songs composed and recorded at studio and submitted demo to music companies. Now I am waiting for a break from the music industry... |
Snaps from my music video... My Music School_ The name of my music school is Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayotan. It was established in 1961 by a group of enlightened people to uphold Bangalee culture from the invasion of Urdu. Presently the school building named 'Chhyanaut Sangskriti Bhaban' is near Shankar busstand, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Eminent Rabindrasangeet artist and Rabindra Researcher Sanjida Khatun is the principle now. The organizers of the school had outstanding contribution in the liberation war as organizers of Mukti Sangrami Shilpi Goshthi- the group which sang to raise donation and encourage freedom fighters during war. The school is the organizer of the main national program of Bangla new year in Ramna Park. |
