David is the first son of Gladys and Franklin G. Markley Jr. He was born Jan.17, 1948. He grew up in Canton, Ohio, attended Wells and Summit Elementary Schools, and graduated from Lehman High School in1966. He then obtained an associate degree in electronic technology at the University of Akron in 1968.
In 1969 David went to work in Columbus, Ohio for Bell Labs. He later made his home in
Reynoldsburg, Ohio. |

FRANKLIN ROBERT MARKLEY |

Franklin is the second son of Gladys and Franklin G. Markley Jr. He was born Sept. 4, 1949 in Canton, Ohio. He attended Summit Elementary School and graduated from Lehman High School in 1967.
Franklin received a degree in Liberal Arts from the Univeristy of Akron in 1971. After graduation he moved to Mt. Vernon, Ohio and worked for the Mohican Youth Center in Loudonville, Ohio. In 1973 he moved to Loudonville, where he lived 25 yrs. He then moved to Ashland, Ohio in 1998, where he had been employed since 1981. |

GUY LYNN MARKLEY |

Guy is the third son of Gladys and Franklin G. Markley Jr. He was born on May 1, 1963 in C Canton, Ohio.
He attended Summit Elementary School, Lehman Middle School, and Timken High School from which he graduated in 1982.
In Jan. 1983 he joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. While there he was married on Aug.14, 1985 to Frances P, (Mills) Ward. Frances had two children by a previous marriage.
1) Jill Mellisa Ward - born Oct. 4, 1977
2) Matthew Clayton Ward - born Feb. 8, 1981
Guy and Frances had a daughter Kelly Frances Markley - born Oct.30,1990.
Guy was discharged Dec. 1990 and moved his family back to Canton, Ohio. After being discharged, Guy became a machinist and is employed in Stow, Ohio. |
