David Walters. Remember the name, well you better, this is the guy who has brought Mick Maplesden�s 75% share in Hastings United, which makes him the main shareholder of the club. Walters contacted Maplesden on Thursday and was handed the shares on Friday for a rumoured fee of �30,000.
David Walters is a financial advisor, so that should be good for United, but also Walters was manager of East Sussex side Punnetts Town, but resigned to take his new role at Hastings United. But club secretary Tony Cosens believes Steve Lovell�s job isn�t in immediate danger �I think things will carry on as they are now until the end of the season�.
Walters also has a coaching degree.
