| Green signs up for United Young full-back Mark Green who was with United on loan at the start of the season on loan from Gillingham has been snapped up by United. Green 19, who was impressive, has joined on what seems to be a non-contract basis, like the rest of the squad excluding Chris Honey. Mark Green was with Gillingham Youth, but after being released he has decided to play for the Us mainly for Steve Lovell knowing him well. Green played eight games while with United, he made his debut against Dartford in our 3-0 home defeat, but he scored in United 2-1 defeat at home to Chatham Town on the following Tuesday, one main match was away to Erith when Green and Tony Burt paired up well enough, to snub one of the best striker partnerships in Darren Adams and Apko Sodje in the league at Erith. Danny Knowles now has joined United on the one month work experience deal, and should be in the squad for the match against Banbury tomorrow, Lovell has also hinted bringing in a experienced midfielder. |
