It�s like the start of the season again, United snapping up players to hopefully keep United at this level. But the first news is a big blow in two ways, captain Stuart Myall is likely to leave the club after Eastbourne Borough handed in a seven day notice, which only gives the club a right to speak to the player, but a higher level would be a penultimate advantage and Myall is likely to join our rivals in midweek.
But goalkeeper Will Toal has been released from the club after some under-average performances; he has re-joined Rye & Iden United, the club he joined United from. But Steve Lovell has signed goalkeeper Danny Knowles from Gillingham on a months loan deal, and Mark Goodwin�s loan is likely to be extended by a few weeks.
Steve Lovell has also hinted that he has a new defensive player in for the match against Histon on Saturday and there might be another defender in the pipeline who has played at this level before.
