February, 19, 1907. I, Isaac Carrihers, being of sound mind, do make this my last will and testament. It is my desire that after my death, first my funeral expenses and all just debts shall be paid.
I will and bequeath to my wife, Eliza D.{note, the "D" stands for her maiden name "Downs"} Carrithers all my personal property and all my real estate, to be used by her during her natural life and at her death to decend to my daughter, Pearl Carrithers, or, her lawful heirs. If my daughter, Pearl Carrithers, should die before my wife, Eliza D. Carrithers, without leaving any issue, my wife, Eliza D. Carrithers Shall dispose of my property at her death as she deem best.
It is my desire that my wife shall give my brother, Joseph Carrithers a home and take care of him as long as he lives.
I desire my wife shall act as excutrix of my will without bond. I desire no inventory of my property. This is my first and last will.
