Joseph Carrithers was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and for many years a steward in Carrithers Chapel. Hi lied burried in Carrithers Cemetery but as yet, no stone marks his resting place. Joseph Carrithers married (2nd) Mrs. Maria (?) Figg.. No issue and they were separated.
