A Stranger In A Strangeland
|
"A STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND"
Tossed into another world, uncertain and alone,
where stone cold hearts are bitter, and the hill I've never
roamed.
A stranger in the shadows, underneath the sky,
where suddenly a spotlight, puts me mighty high.
But all at once it's black, as if the spotlight never shone,
and once again I'm left feeling frightened and alone.
A tiny drip of water, washes away my fear,
But still I stand alone, wiping away a tear.
A stranger sits beside me, with fire in his eyes,
He used to be familiar, but he's broken his disguise.
Now there's tears and pain, as I go to sleep,
And the drip becomes a puddle, getting very deep.
Wishing for the past, when everything was new,
When this stranger stood beside me in everything I do.
Living in this cruel, brutal world, alone is not the way to
be,
But everytime I have something, it slips because of me.
