Whoa! What an emotional roller coaster. I had no idea how it would go! This reunion occured in November of 2003, when I got to meet my birth mother face to face for the first time since our phone reunion 8 years prior. We had stayed in contact over the years via beautifully written letters sent USmail and packages and then emails galore. But the day in November, when she stepped off that plane and I looked into her eyes for the first time, I was finally complete. It was an amazing week and I would not trade it for anything else I've experienced in my life up until this point (except of course the birth of my two precious children). This is a picture of my biological mother when she got married in early 2003 to a VERY awesome man! I have an awesome step dad to go along with the awesome biological mother I found! :) How lucky can a girl get! I have the biggest family all around!
