OCTOBER TROOP ACTIVITIES

TROOP 1747: We have had a busy month. We went to Scholt's pumkin patch and took their tour.  We then went to pick out our pumkins.  On October 10 we went to the taping of Northwest Afternoon and did a PSA for the Save Our Waves Project.  We finished the month with a visit from a police officer and talked about safety.
TROOP 1846: Helped Troop 920 bridge to Juniors.
TROOP 920:  Br idged to Juniors with the help of Troop 1846.
TROOP 1736:  We started a new program in our troop called "Support Your Sister Scout".  We are going as a group to softball games, choir concerts, etc that our troop members are participating in.  We decorated a bulletin board in the 6th floor playroom at Mary Bridge Hospital (we "adopted" this as an ongoing project).  We have also started our Bridging to Senior activities.
TROOP 1118: We made sewing supply kits, learned how to use multiple electronic sewing machine and made aprons.  We also took a trip to the pumpkin patch/corn maze.  The maze was exhausting, 3.4 miles but the cocoa and rice crackers tasted great afterwards.

The following troops did service projects in October as part of the "Save Our Waves" program

Troop 1736 and 1846: They went to Celebration Park on October 5 and pulled non-native plants from the wetland areas.
