| CONGRATULATIONS TO AMY FOSTER FOR RECEIVING HER GOLD AWARD ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2002. THE GOLD AWARD IS THE HIGHEST AWARD TO BE EARN BY A GIRL SCOUT. Amy collected ponytails at least 10" in length and donated them to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to finanically disadvantaged children across the United States under 18 suffering form Alopecia Areata. Alopecia Areata is a highly unpredicatable, autoimmune skin disease resulting in the hair loss on the the scalp and elsewhere on the body.
