SUPER TROOP PROGRAM
FOR 2003-04 YEAR
To qualify for "SUPER TROOP" status, your troop must earn a total of 6 stars.  The 6 stars need to be distributed among 5 different colors listed below. The blue star is required for all troops to become a SUPER TROOP.  Gabriele will be tracking this program.

Each troop that earns SUPER TROOP status can purchase a special patch for each member of their troop.

2002-03 Super Troops: 920, 1118, 1162, 1344, 1734, 1736, 1773, 1846, 1865, 2138, 2139, 2153, and 2188
BLUE STAR: (REQUIRED FOR ALL TROOPS)

All training must be completed by the troop.  Leaders and co-leaders must have completed the Leadership series, and troop must have a member who has complete the Outdoor Education series.  Each troop must have an adult member with current First Aid/CPR certification.

GREEN STAR:

Attend a winter event like the Veteran's Day Parade.  This can be a council or service unit sponsored event. (Juliette Low, Veteran's Day Parade or holiday event was credited here)

RED STAR:

Attend a spring event like encampment or Thinking Day.  This can be a council or service unit sponsored event.

PINK STAR:

Attend any service unit sponsored event like Juliette Low's Birthday. (If you attended more than one winter or spring event you got credit here)

PURPLE STAR:

Complete 2 service projects.  This can be community or within Girl Scouting.

WHITE STAR:

Do a multi-troop activity.  This is any meeting or activity with another troop within the service unit.

YELLOW STAR:

Have a member of your troop volunteer to service on the service unit board or an events committee or chair one of the many events.

TEAL STAR

Spring Registered your troop for the 2003-04 year.

You got a bonus star for having perfect attendance at leader meetings for the 2002-03 year.
