Front Grounds

Spring planting done and front roses just starting to grow.

Annuals (pansies, pink petunas and white sweet allysium) are planted along both sides of the walkway to color the path to the front steps.

Left side of porch with just planted annuals.

Gernaniums with a variety of annuals (asparagus ferns, pansies, ivy, verbena, etc.) are planted in the pots and planters on the front porch and steps. Four hanging baskets hold cascading petunias and hanging vines, two on each side of the porch.

A previous owner had removed the maple trees along the curb in front of the house. When they found they had violated city ordinances, they had to immediately replace those four trees. For some reason, the tree between the driveway and the walkway to the front of the house is the last to bloom in the spring and the last to loose its leaves in the fall. It always extends the fall season for us.
