The symphony has played a large role in my being able to see David as often as I do. It seems as if it were years ago when I felt that I was spending to much time alone at home on weekends. Though this weekend is even fuller than my recent ones, they have all been fairly busy of late. This weekend I have even had to turn down two invitations not because I don't feel in the mood which in the past was often the case, but because I already have a full weekend starting tonight with Charles. Then on Friday I will be going to the movies with Andy, I will also be spending Saturday with Andy at the end of which we will be going to see the Apollo Trio perform "Cafe Music" at White Hall. Sunday is the last concert of the symphony season which I will attend with David. Each of the events will of course include going out for dinner and drinks.
I feel as if I am over doing a little to much. Here I am supposedly cutting back because of budget restraints but I am going out more than twice as much as I did before money was as tight as it is. Next weekend is completely clear. Then I am going to be going to University events in Omaha and St. Louis over the following couple of weeks. When I get back I am going to make a concerted effort to cut back at least a little. I am going to try to not schedule more than one thing per weekend. I have to make cuts somewhere and this seems the most logical place.
This is all for now, I will add an update after the weekend is over to say how it all went.
