Nightmares
I try to sleep, to access that secret world of dreams, but the world is keeping me awake It’s so noisy here with the televisions and the radios and the politics and the excited chatter of teenage girls If only I could slip into that world of daydreams where the only experience you need is a vivid imagination and belief of endless possibilities But I am stuck in this endless nightmare of stores of traffic and deadlines My ears full of controversy until I beg for the silence and darkness to take me away once more © EXCEL 113 10/17/02; 11/7/02; 11/8/02
