You
were like me You were like me, afflicted with
battle wounds, marred with battle scars
that pierce the skin, ruining its perfection.
But you, you found the secret, buried in the
waters of a fountain, and drank until you were
full. Then you turned and saw me behind
you, fumbling through that sea of
darkness, and you offered me you glass which was
glowing like a beacon in the heavy fog.
It was still half-full, and I drank until my soul
was full. © EXCEL
