Highlights of Plan for high speed connectivity project execution: 1. Collect fund from alumni in India and abroad. 2. Target amount as of today is $5000. 3. Find out procedural / technical hurdles in upgrading current VSAT connectivity from 16 KBPS to 64 KBPS. 4. Study the college infrastucrure to find out whether it is "Ready to get connected" 5. Estimate the equipment expenditure to get college infrastructure ready to be connected. 6. Get quotes from at least two independent vendors for providing network solution. 7. Fund committee and knowledgeble alumni will review the quotes and solution. 8. Directly pay money from alumni account to shortlisted vendors to implement agreed solution. 9. Alumni committee in Aurangabad will make sure solution is implemented as per agreement.. 10. High speed connectivity established. |
