I started hiking when I was five years old. My grandparents took me to

Rocky Mountain National Park. I have been hiking ever since. I really

enjoy the outdoors. I have seen so many amazing things. I have seen

clouds that looked like the ocean with little mountain tops peaking

out like islands. I have seen rocks that look like famous people. I

have seen a world that few people ever get to see. Hiking takes us

to a new world. Not just of trees, rocks, snow,lakes, mountains, but of

experiances. I have so many wonderful memories shared with so many

wonderful people. The picture to the left is from Emerald Lake in

Rocky Mountain National Park. The mountain on the left is Hallets Peak and on the right is Flattop Mountain. I

have climbed the coulior on the far right. What a great time that was. I have been to this lake so many times and everytime it

feels new. So get out and hike. But please don't litter. Remember to use good gear when you hike. I like several manufacters
