My interest in magic comes from my grandfather Gordon Eaton II. He showed me the "21" card trick and the trick where the jacks rob the bank.I am sure some of you have seen one or both of these tricks. I picked up magic seriously a year and a half ago. I wanted to do a magic show at my daughters birthday. Every since I have been hooked. I have performed for a school, a retailer, and walk around magic at a restraunt. I still enjoy magic and am a member of the Mile High Magicians and the Presto-Digitators. I enjoy magic not because I can deceive people but because of the amazement of peoples faces when they see a trick. Most people are, for a brief moment in time, taken to a place where reality is not what it seems. I think we all need this wonder in our lives. So the next time you see a magician, stop, and enjoy the show.
