Membership and Eligibility
GCA is open to all Master's level counseling students at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. This includes Agency/Community Counseling, School Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Business & Industry Counseling Majors.

Members must be in good academic standing with the University, and should have submitted a completed application, along with their dues payable to
the Graduate Counseling Association. This information can be
submitted to any of the Executive Board members.

Active membership in GCA suggests that members have paid current dues and regularly participate in the organization. This includes participation in at least one of the meetings and one of the activities that GCA sponsors
each semester. If members fall behind on dues, or do not attend
meetings regularly, his/her membership status will be considered inactive.
As members of GCA, we are all expected to be committed to the
organization and to each other. We believe that dedication and determination
in the small things in life will help build our character and professional identity, so that we will be well prepared for what life presents to us.

We value our member's opinions, and we take education very seriously. The activities and events that we sponsor have been, and will continue
to be based on our five principles:
