| GCA's mission is to promote unity, awareness, and competence within the counseling profession. It is very important to GCA that students graduate from their counseling programs with a strong sense of self and relationships, an in depth understanding of counseling and the opportunities that are available in this field, a superior level of performance and efficiency, and a knowledge base that will assist them in overcoming many obstacles in the field of counseling. |

The benefits of GCA are immeasurable! We strive to educate and inspire counseling students in order for them to be productive and effective Counseling Professionals. Some of our benefits include networking, obtaining professional development, and working in a capacity of service to the community. Individuals in this organization also receive opportunities to serve as mentors and build sustaining relationships and alliances with others. We believe that socialization and fellowship with other counseling students and professionals will give our students an advantage, and will keep them abreast to pertinent information in the Counseling field. |
