Samples of the Variety of work by Robin and Lorrie A sampling of stoneware, some Wood-fired with others out of an Electric Kiln |
Robin and Lorrie work out of their home at Half-Point Studio in Red Lake Falls. Both are active as instructors in their local Community and Adult Education programs. They have offered workshops in Raku, pit fire techniques and played an important role in bringing Richard Bresnahan in for a workshop to build and fire a large wood-fired "coffin kiln". With a strong background in chemisty, Robin has also been at the center of research and the development of their locally available clay. He has also built a wood-fired kiln of his own in the style of Olsen's "fast-fire" design. |
