With the motive to bring ‘dawn to darkness’ GASH was set up by young, energetic and visionary people from different walks of life. To dedicate to the service of the needy and to try and find ways to bring these people together, to help them to construct their own communities and to create a better tomorrow by mutually participating mechanism is our prime objective.                 

           To struggle for awareness, to strive for better health, to inculcate better ways of living and to help for tomorrow by helping in education of children are our broad goals that we have tighten up to achieve. In order to achieve these dreams we propose to start in the following sequence. Before going into details of our strategies, our prime objectives are as follows: 

GASH organization is established for servicing to the rural area of Nepal. Especially it is targeted to the rural district Gorkha at it's first phase. It's vision is gradually providing specific health service to all the rural communities of the Nepal. It is well known fact that the health education, treatments/diagnosis of disease and prevention of disease are very poor in the rural area of Nepal. Health services in Nepal follow a hierarchical system. A rural community believes that all the diseases are comes from the anger of many types of Gods. They do not know that the bacteria, virus etc cause it.

Government health sector, many expansive private hospital/nursing homes providing care to the fortunate of urban area but in the rural area, community health service is still worse. The ministry of health provides basic immunization and some vertical Programme like tuberculosis, leprosy etc. In fact, simple diseases like malnutrition, loose motion, parasitic infection and acute respiratory illness are still causing thousands of deaths in the rural area of Nepal. Sexually transmitted disease, pregnancy mother's problem is the main health worse of the rural area. So that to deletion the ignorance, bring awareness and providing the specific health service to the rural area of Nepal is the main target of the GASH.
