Random Crap: Remy's another one of Magneto's "Acolytes" from "Day of Reckoning". I guess he's the suave one or something, because all he has to do is look at Rogue and it puts her in a trance (of love!) even though he wasn't the handsome one (Pyro was!). Anyway, he says the least of the Acolytes, since Colossus gets to grunt and Pyro gets to do a half-chuckle. So, he's... yeah. Remy. Cajun. Thief. Woohoo. He'll be back in the next season, Rogue will instantly fall in love with him, despite the feelings for Scott that they had her develop over two seasons, and he will become an X-Man better than all other X-Men. Then, he will have his own spinoff show.

Personal Opinion: I hate him-- well, scratch that. I hate the Remy fandom, as he doesn't really annoy me in the comics (at least, he didn't until the comics became "REMY LEBEAU!!!!! And the X-Men" and he jumped into EVERY FREAKING MARVEL TITLE because people never seem to get sick of him being ubiquitous). However, Remy in Evo has yet to give me something to hate about him, so we'll see. I know he's going to be a recurring character in Season 3, and here's hoping the show's not going to become "REMY LEBEAU!!!!! And the X-Men... Evolution". But it probably will become that, since his fans have a tendency to whine endlessly until he's shoved into every scene of every Marvel product. (Like, oh, I dunno, Ultimate X-Men, which really didn't need those two stupid Remy issues in them. I mean, seriously, Ultimate was supposed to be like a retake of Uncanny, and we alllll know that Remy didn't appear in Uncanny for a long, long time. And yet, in Ultimate, his fans had to bitch and moan and send Mark Miller letters because he didn't want to write Remy into it. No wonder Mark Miller hates Gambit too. Then again, Colossus and Storm weren't in the very beginning of Uncanny and yet they're in Ultimate, but who cares, they're nifty and Gambit's not)

Gee. And people wonder why I love Cortez so much? It's because he tortures Remy in the old cartoon! XD (well, he sorta does... and I liked him before that, but that certainly was an added bonus!) And Pyro... ah, lovely Pyro tried to burn Remy's face off XD Who can't love a guy like that?

(FUN NOTE: Seeing as how I've gotten some "HOW DARE U INSULT REMY??!??!/1!11" emails before, I would like to clarify that this is my own opinion, which I'm entitled to... especially because this is my website. And I hate him. He irritates me. So don't send me flame mail because of my opinion)

Old vs. New: Old. And by Old, I mean OLD Remy. Like, "First Appearance" Remy. He didn't annoy me because he wasn't everywhere in the older comics. Now I hate him because EVERYTHING has to be about him! EVERYTHING!!! He gets his own freaking series and it's still not enough for people! But I'm not bitter. (Actually, I shouldn't be complaining, since Magneto's got like... multiple limited series and has been around since the beginning of time and won't die O.o And still I love him. XD Because he's not Remy) Anyway, yes. OLD OLD Remy wins because I actually liked him. Besides, EvoRemy has stupid hair :D
