... If you plant in the field of your natural desires, from it you will gather the harvest of death; if you plant in the field of the Spirit, from the Spirit you will gather the harvest of eternal life. So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. (Gal. 6:8-9)

Text Box: THE HARVEST

Text Box: Goals for Growth
The G12 Vision involves setting clear-cut goals. The particular church must own their corporate goals and work together to see them fulfilled

Text Box: oal setting is an essencial part of success. How are you ever going to hit anything if you do not aim for it? That much is clear, but what exactly is a goal? Goals are clear-cut objective made plain for everyone to see and follow. The corporate goal expresses what we want to achieve together for God . Quite simply , a goal answers the questions, "What?" and "When?" What do we want to achieve for God and when do we want to achieve it by?
The goals will be bigger than anything we can do on our own and they show that every member of the church needs every other member to get the job done. It demonstrates the value of working together but it also reveals the part individuals have to play in the overal plan.
Why Goals?
An essential part of any vision  is to know where that vision is taking us, how long it will take  and what we will need  on the jurney. That is why goals are necessary.  Goals help release the energy of God's people as everyone works together to fulfil them. God is the Great goal setter. He first determines the end - what He wants to see come to pass. Then He works out a plan of action in perfect harmony with His will until the goal is perfectly fulfilled. Partnering with God means we will have goals, but they must be His goals and not our own man-made goals. Goals based in His Word for us
The first goal must be to transition into a cell church. This takes time, particularly if the church has a traditional approach to cells or to small groups. The whole process of transitioning to a cell church according to the model of the G12 takes about two years in most cases.
The next goal is to see the primary G12 established and for the second level to be established. This is when the primary group has established 12 other leaders each with cells. The process from the first 12 to 144 cells usually takes about three years.
In setting other goals for growth it is vitally important to be realistic but not to the point of excluding the power of God. A goal must be born out of faith under the direction of the Holy Spirit. But it is realistic to expect steady growth for the first few years of the vision and beyond that to expect explosive growth.
