Text Box: ....The Lord has mandated His Church to win the nations for His kingdom. The 20th century saw the greatest spiritual harvest in the history of the Church, specially in developing nations. But much more remains to be done. The 10/40 window remains largely unevangelised and 2 billion people are culturally and geographically cut off from the Gospel. Aware of the desperate need in their own nations and beyond, many church leaders are looking at the success of churches around the world that have adopted cell church models. The world's largest and fast growing churches are almost invariably cell churches. One church, above others, that has attracted recent attention through its cell vision is the International Charismatic Mission of Bogota, Colombia. Under the leadership of Pastors Cesar and Claudia Castellanos, God has shaped a vision that is capable of empowering the church world wide to fulfill the mandate of Christ in our generation Jesus vision for the world is to "win souls and make disciples." He clearly stated this in Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." To achieve His vision, Jesus worked closely with twelve men that He mentored to take His place on the earth. Following Jesus pattern, the apostle Paul also trained a number of young men ("Timothys") who later became the great leaders of the New Testament Church. CELL CHURCH VISION This twenty-first centuryvision is a cell church vision and operates according to the Government or Leadership of twelve. A Cell Cjurch is not just a church with cells. It is a church where the whole thrust of its life and ministry takes place through the cells. Cells are not the same as home groups, fellowship or interest groups. Rather, they are tiny units of "church" doing everything that "church" should be doing while remaing part of the overall body. Cells are where the evangelism, discipleship, pastoral care and prayer life of the church takes place. THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE Based on the way Jesus chose and trained twelve disciples, the G12 vision is proving to be the most effective way of equiping the body of Christ in the world today. Its goal is to see every member of the body of Christ serving the Lord Jesus and fulfilling His mandate to make, mature and mobilise disciples in all nations. Having seen its effects in Colombia, U.S.A. England, Spain. I believe this is the best method of training, releasing and mobilising the body of Christ  that can be found anywhere in the world. And yet it is much, much more than a strategy or a method. It is a vision from the Lord, "An anointed vision with a mission" The number twelve is the number of government in the Bible. Jesus established His kingdom and government on the earth by using the same principle that God had used to establish Israel in the Old Testament. Just as Israel had twelve tribes, Jesus had twelve disciples. Using this pattern, Jesus intended to show us a model of how to disciple not only our local communities, but also the nations of the world. Churches worldwide are implementing this dynamic principle. Its simple, personal, and is easy to duplicate. It is not a program, but the development of "fathering and mothering" relationships that help every believer become a multiplying leader who can disciple others.
