about the foo that you are pitying.
"A legendary character; where? only there, when? only then. A Hero or a hooligan? Well, that part's never clear. Pride and shame, it's all the same. Who's innocent and who's to blame? Politics or just a game? WELL, IN THE END THEY KNEW HIS NAME! The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. Is it The Rascal King behind the bars or the one in front of them?"

The Rascal King, The Mighty Mighty BossToneS
Hello, I am Erik and this is my crappy web-page. Why did I make it? I do not know. Whom does it benefit? No clue. Where is my remote control for the TV? Cant tell ya. But what I do know is ok, I dont know that either, but rest assured that I am a very bored individual and I know how to waste space in computer land. I guess my story starts over two-decades ago
On July 17th, 1980, another loud obnoxious being came into the world. That obnoxious oaf was me, Erik. Soon after my birth, I took to the arts. My diapers were white canvases, in which I magically worked in hues of yellow and brown and sometimes green. As with most artists, my genius was never understood and my art was cast aside to line landfills or feed third world countries. But, I continued on, and I am proud to say that my art work is still shit.
Here is a list of stuff that I like, and you should like, too.

Movies: Just about anything in movies I like. Even if I don't like a movie, I'm never mad that I saw it... except for two that I can think of, "John Leguizamo's The Pest" and the new "Time Machine" with Guy Pierce... and at least I had fun making fun of Time Machine. Some of my all time favorite movies are: "Leon"; "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"; "Ghostbusters"; "The Blues Brothers"; ok, I'll just make a top ten list or something.

Anime: Same as movies, my all time favorite is Rurouni Kenshin, however. I love Samurai's and such... oh yea, I should add "The Seven Samurai" to my movie list, oh well, another time. I also love Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion and Escaflowne... ok, I'm making a top ten list of this, too.

Books: I love crime comedies and such, Elmore Leonard is a personal favorite, and one of my most recent is "One For The Money" by Janet Evanovich, it's the beggining of a very funny series about a laid-off buyer for a lingerie company turned bounty-hunter... trust me. I'm also reading "Stranger In A Strange Land" by Robert A. Heinlein. If you haven't read this book, I suggest that you do. It's about a man that was born and raised on Mars, with only Martian influence, coming to Earth and experiancing Earth culture for the first time.... and that barely skims the surface of this book.

Television: I hate it, the only good thing I watch anymore is the Simpsons and re-runs of G.I. Joe. Other than that, it's all rehashed garbage, that is amazingly devoid of entertainment... except for Bay City Plywood commercials.

Music: Well, if you can't tell by the two-tone decor, and various other references, I like Ska from roots, two-tone and third-wave. I also have a hankering for punk. Bands that get my seal of aperooval: Specials, Rancid, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Pietasters, Less Than Jake, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Scofflaws, Dropkick Murphys... and of course, Elvis. Sorry, Tim Armstrong tells me I should stop dropping names.

As of now, I am a pathetic jobless college student. I have two years under my belt, but unfortunately, I don't have enough money to do the other two years. Maybe I'll get to return to the wonderful Savannah College of Art and Design and get my film degree, or maybe I will rot away in a pathetic go-nowhere job, or perhaps I will manually masturbate animals for artificial insemination. Who knows? I'll try and keep you posted.
