Well, let's see. 15 Bands, 2 stages, 12 hours of music. What didn't they advertise? Massive ear trauma, 3rd degree burns, and blisters the size of Boston. Oh yeah, and all the injuries sustained there. What does all this mean? One hell of a good show. Guests included Adema, Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm (singing their hit "Smooth Criminal" and their other hit "Not Smooth Criminal"), New Found Glory and Disturbed to name a few. The crowd was massive, as was the heat. Luckily we were sprayed with water hoses... and luckily the girl with the double d's next to me in the white shirt was sprayed as well.
Attending the event with me were my cousin, Rachael and Steve the Canadian Hater. Since Rachael was the only one with the forsight to bring a camera, I mostly only have pictures of New Found Glory. Other than what you see in the images, there were also plenty of stands charging for overpriced pig sphincters smothered in imitation BBQ sauce, a beer line stretching all the way to Fort Myers, 13 year old girls dressed like 40 year old Hollywood Hookers and a sticker stand with enough adhesive to apply Marlon Brando to the top of The Empire State building. OK, enough with the talk, and make with the pics, I know. So, ok, here they are: |
