A story of normal dramas and relationships, EarthBound: The Perpetual Adventures earned a lot of praise for its grounded and sometimes gritty take on "EarthBound." With additional works called Interlude and "Initiative," it is one of the few "EarthBound" fanfics that can claim to have had other fanfiction based on it, as well as having a film short produced by its author, longtime film fan Michael DePalma.
