DePalma is a film buff who has often engaged in many projects having to do with this passion (including "EarthBound"-related ones), as well as a group 'fic and non-"EB" related fiction. Throughout its run, these matters contributed to keeping Perpetual on a somewhat slower schedule than most fanfics, though it would prove to retain its popularity.
