It has been awhile for updates
and I apologize. The platoon is doing great things. Our
motorpool has been able to maintain a zero to minimal dead line
report. Translated, our guys have been working overtime to
ensure the vehicles stay up and running for missions. Our
supply section has been swamped with jobs that they continually
attack each day, along with the other additional requirements thrown
their way. We've had two inspections, in the Arms room and in
the maintenance section, both which passed with flying colors.
Kudos to those soldiers that made it happen! Operations
continues to seek ways to run better despite the last-minute
missions from Battalion, last-minute changes to the the night's
mission, and other stuff that never seems to stop popping up. We've
reached the half-way point and tensions are high. However, the
platoon is sticking together and we are looking out for each other.
I am proud of each and every one of my soldiers and I especially
want to congratulate my platoon sergeant, SSG Mayes, on his
promotion to Sergeant First Class, SGT Jones on his promotion to
Staff Sergeant, and PVT Strickland on her promotion to PV2.
Congratulations on all your hard work and keep it up! |
