Why not call him Sir?

Bro. Eli Soriano forbid people from calling him Sir. He feels it is not suitable for him to be called as such. Why? We know that in England, they have knights and these people have prefixes before their names as "Sir" which also means "aristocrat", "patrician", "blue blood", "nobleman" or mostly "Lord." He feels it is not appropriate for him to be called Sir(Lord) because he sees himself as servant of all his members. In Matthew 23:10-11,

the one who is the greatest shall be the servant. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

So for Bro. Eli. Soriano, that prefix "Sir" prior to his name is not acceptable.

And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
