His way of preaching?
Many people, pastors and ordinary people
alike, are not pleased with his style of preaching. Why? Because Bro. Eli Soriano is very
casual, spontaneous, and very frank. Whenever he corrects one wrong doctrine of another
Church, they think he was scolding them, or putting them to shame. Looks good for me. At
least they can still feel something and they couldn’t ignore what he is saying. You
may ask me, why is it that Bro. Eli is doing is good to you, Mr. Author? It a good way to
know whether the audience are listening or not, because if they feel hurt, they may have
something wrong with themselves. That was the main reason for better listening. But we
can’t ignore the fact that there are people who have closed minds, instead of asking
why Bro. Eli told them this, and told them that, they will just put their arms on their
chests and display a frown. So there you can see, who’s blind and who choose to be
blind. In my opinion, it is wrong to say that these kind of people are blind because a literal blind, in
true life wanted to see! A blind who understands what is going on in order for him to see
disregards the incidentals but welcomes any new ideas; ideas that are truly based on the
Bible, to make him see. Those who choose to be blind are those people who pose to see more
clearly, but disregards all ideas presented to them, because it is not according to what
they wanted to see or to believe.
Now, it was for two decades people had been complaining to him.
Why do you attack other’s belief instead of preaching your own? Bro. Eli would say, "I am not attacking your faith. I am just telling you that your faith is wrong.
If I pass by your house and saw that your fence had fallen down and told you, ‘Your
fence had fallen down;’ am I the one who made it fall down? I am just telling you the
truth from what I saw that your fence fell down. It is a sign of my love for my neighbors, to tell them what
happened to their fence."Author: No surprise, some people don't want to be informed. They don't want to be concerned. Hehehehehe
Then one may ask: "Bro. Eli, how sure are you that your
doctrine is right, to judge other religions that their faith is wrong?"
Bro. Eli would say, "Because all we do and believe are based
on the Bible."
Again, Bro. Eli Soriano, strictly adheres to the written doctrine
from the Bible, as said in Titus 1:13
This
witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
And what he is always doing, are all written
in the Bible. And that must we do, as said in 1 Cor 4:6
And these things, brethren, I have in
a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us
not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one
against another. |
