The top two reasons we're all attending University are to get our degrees and get good jobs. We're also looking for summer jobs to help pay the bills in between semesters. University of Alberta Fraternities assist you on all counts.
For starters, all of our Fraternities are committed to scholarship, and in most cases, maintaining a high GPA is a requirement for continuing membership. To help you get good grades, many Fraternities hold weekly study sessions, provide free tutoring services from alumni and older active members, and some even have registries containing back papers and exams. Most Fraternities also offer scholarships through their headquarters and local chapters. Of course, the actual work is up to you, but Fraternity membership gets you those valuable resources.
On the job front, University of Alberta Fraternities can put you in touch with people who will help you land your first job, launch your career, or find summer employment to pay for the next year of school. Each and every Fraternity has alumni members working in a vast array of fields and professions. Many of the Fraternities' international headquarters offer leadership positions to graduating Fraternity members as well.
