	Fall Fair The first Fort Vermilion Agricultural Society was incorporated on July 28, 1938 and it sponsored the Fort Vermilion Fall Fair on September 6, 1938. Fair book and prize photos are from the Fort Vermilion Heritage Center - Newman Collection   Little Sports The "Little Sports" was held on the May long weekend of each year providing great fun for folks of all ages. It featured foot, sack, wheel barrow, egg and spoon as well as other races. Big Sports To celebrate Dominion Day on July 1st, the "Big Sports" was held. Horse races were the highlight and the events later evolved into the annual outdoor rodeo.
