PTSA SCHOLARSHIP DONATION DRIVE

Forestville Military Academy's Parent Teacher Student Association is offering a scholarship to a 2005 FMA senior.  Consideration will be given to a FMA senior entering an accredited college, university or trade school.  The PTSA needs your support and donation to help support FMA students in their efforts to continue their education.

The PTSA is accepting all monetary donations, cash and money orders made out to PTSA.
All individuals that provide a monetary donation will receive the following:
� Tax Credit letter
� Acknowledgment in the PTSA's Newsletter
� Acknowledgment if you make a donation on behalf of a loved one living or deceased will be placed in the PTSA's Newsletter

The PTSA is in need of your generous contribution in supporting our students to further their education.  If you can make a donation, please contact us at [email protected].

FMA CHEERLEADERS
Forestville Military Academy Cheerleaders competed in the Varsity Novice Competition in Baltimore, Maryland.  FMA Cheerleaders showed their skills, which placed them in first place.  Congratulations to FMA Cheerleaders for earning the title of Grand Champions in their Division.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

Join the Forestville Military Academy PTSA in celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week during May 1-7, 2005.  The PTSA honor the loyalty, dedication, passion, and caring nature of the FMA teachers.  Not only are teachers the backbone of our education system, they are the guiding force in helping our youth develop into healthy, happy, and successful adults.

The PTSA pauses to reflect on all that our teachers do every day, and designate this week in appreciation and celebration of their services.  Please join the PTSA in thanking the FMA teachers during this week.  Suggestions for Students, Parents, and Administrator to show there appreciation to the FMA teachers:
� Flowers
� Thank you cards
� Donate school & office supplies
� Gift card i.e. Staple, Office Depot, Wal-Mart (teacher spend their own money on many supplies)
� Drop off special treats in the Teacher Lounge throughout the week
� Students - complete all assignments on time, are prompt to class, & are respectful to all teachers

The PTSA will be kicking off the FMA Teacher Appreciation Week on Monday, May 2, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. in the teacher's lounge with coffee & donuts.  Please join the PTSA in showing how important the FMA Teachers are to our school.
