A possible solution to improve the health of Nigerians that can be conducted by Canadians is to send money or supplies to them. The money can go to environmental sanitation, which is one of the major reasons of health deficiency. Public health funding is another thing that can be increased. Since the government is not willing to use the GDP to provide healthcare for the public, money donated by others will be welcomed to provide medicine or essential living supplies. Many diseases floating around in Nigeria are be combated with immunizations which the Nigerians don't have. Vaccines can be bought and sent to Nigeria to prevent common yet fatal diseases to strike young children who could live a long and prosperous life. In Nigeria, the pecentage of citizens that have received vaccines has declined in the past years due to lack of government funding. Click here to view past statistics. The main concern of Nigeria is HIV/AIDS. It can't be cured, but it can be prevented. Canada can help by sending trained teachers to educate Nigerians about HIV and other STDs. In this sense, it is more likely people will understand the consequences and choose one partner throughout life. Ergo, there will be a lesser number of deaths caused by sexually transmitted diseases in future years. In this way, the quality of life in Nigeria can be broadened to more options and the ability to progress in technology.

Heavy rains drench Nigeria especially from September to October. This causes flooding in certain parts. Possible solutions are creating and sending drain pipes to Nigeria and a plan of a sewage system, so that the rain could fall underground instead of collecting on the earth and produce. The pipes would drain the rain and lead the liquid towards the Atlantic Ocean. The sewage system could be of a grid pattern for the places under the streets. In the places where the ground is dominated by trees, a different format can be used because the vegetation itself drains off some rain. There should be less drain pipes there because digging underground may affect the growth of the plants.
