On the weekend that the ladies finally made their first appearance for the season, both Swiss Club Red Flamingoes and Nhac Tre No.1 preserved their 100% record against tough opponents to be neck and neck leaders of the Eastern Conference, while Millennia Skools Innebandy moved to the top of the Western Conference with its third successive victory.

Moosettesz started its title defence with a close 3-1 victory over last year's runner-up NUS Titans.  NUS Jupitans did better by drawing 2-2 with university rivals NTU Tempest, but will be disappointed at conceding the equaliser seconds from the final whistle.  Kudos to NTU Tempest for displaying their never-say-die attitude once again.  In the other 2 ladies' matches, the gap in standards was much wider.  While Millennia Skools OSB Owls ran riot with a 8-0 win over Orionz, Millennia Skools Floorball Youth was at the end of a 7-0 whipping from Swiss Club Pink Flamingoes.

In the Men's Division 1, Swiss Club Red Flamingoes beat Moosemen by 8-6 in a scrappy and ill-tempered match, with 5 goals scored in the final 2 minutes of the match and a host of bench penalties throughout.  In the match between NUS Nemesis and Nhac Tre No.1, after 2 goalless periods, the match came to life in the final period with 7 goals scored, as Nhac Tre No.1 prevailed 5-2.  Both Flamingoes and Nhac Tre now have the maximum 12 points for 4 matches, but hot on their heels in the Eastern Conference are Millennia Skools Floorball with 9 points, who stuttered to a 5-4 victory over Millennia Skools OSB after going down 0-2 in the first period to lead 4-2.  It was MS OSB's turn to fight back and equalise but MS Floorball were lucky to grab the winning goal in a match that MS OSB had the better chances.  Team Tazs Arowana were surprisingly beaten 7-3 by NTU Hurricances as an understrength Tazs, without some players with other commitments, went down 6-2 at the end of the first period.  There was no coming back and NTU secured their second victory of the season to draw level on 7 points with Moosemen.  In the battle of the cellar teams, Termites scored their first goals in this year's League to edge out NUS Saints 3-2, leaving the Saints still searching for their first points of the season.  Also looking for the first points are Tampines East Knights.  Although they put up a spirited fight against Millennia Skools Innebandy, the latter proved too strong, eventually triumphing 7-2 to move to the top of the Western Conference.
