| 7 February 2004 43 goals were scored in the 6 matches played on Saturday, with Swiss Club Red Flamingoes recording the biggest margin of victory with a 11-0 thrashing of NUS Saints. In other big victories, NTU Hurricanes were blown away by a rampant Moosemen with a score of 9-1 after impudently taking an early lead, while the toothless Termites were exterminated by NUS Nemesis by 8-0. In another high-scoring match, Nhac Tre No.1 thumped Millennia Skools Floorball 6-2, with a scintillating second period in which they scored 3 goals, after MS Floorball had dominated the first period. Tampines East Knights also took an early lead in their match against Team Tazs Arowana, but were put in their place in the next two periods as Tazs carved out a 4-1 victory. In the other match of the day, the derby match between Millennia Skools OSB and Millennia Skools Innebandy bucked the high scoring trend by having only one goal to show from an absorbing encounter. The lone goal came in the first period from MS Innebandy. There were a few notable individual performances on the day. Three players grabbing hattricks were Tay Wee Lian of NUS Nemesis, Niclas Erlandson of Nhac Tre No.1, and Malaysian international G Sasitheran of Swiss Club Red Flamingoes. Grabbing a brace of goals were Arland Ang of Moosemen, Eugene Lim of NUS Nemesis, Christopher Magnani of Nhac Tre No.1, as well as Enrico Marican and Hector Gomez of Swiss Club Red Flamingoes. |
